Lett. 19, 603–608 (1967)SU(3), Meson-Baryon Scattering, and Asymptotic LimitsReceived 5 July 1967; published in the issue dated 4 September 1967 The meson-baryon total cross sections and elastic-scattering data in the forward direction are fitted using SU(3)-invariant t-channel amplitudes. The analysis implies that (1) 0<~σtot(s→∞)<~15.5 mb, and (2) -0.11<~ReT(s, t=0)/ImT(s, t=0)<~0 as s→∞. © 1967 The American Physical Society URL:
