Lett. 29, 1525–1527 (1972)Anticentrifugal Stretching in 20NeSee Also: Erratum Received 31 August 1972; published in the issue dated 27 November 1972 A variation-after-projection Hartree-Fock calculation shows that the rms radius of 20Ne decreases with increasing spin in the ground-state band. This decrease is consistent with the significant reduction in α width between the 6+ and the 8+ states.
