Lett. 36, 999–1001 (1976)Particle Creation by Gravitational FieldsReceived 26 January 1976; published in the issue dated 26 April 1976 This paper presents a new and generally covariant approach to quantum field theory in curved space-time. Previously unknown expressions are obtained for particle creation amplitudes in oscillating gravitational fields.
