Lett. 41, 381–384 (1978)Nuclear Resonance Excitation by Synchrotron RadiationReceived 26 May 1978; published in the issue dated 7 August 1978 We have excited the 14-keV level of the Fe57 nucleus using synchrotron radiation, and observed the conversion electrons emitted in the decay of that state.
