The shape and area of the output from physically realizable amplifiers of inverted Q(2)-degenerate two-level atoms are calculated analytically. The (4π-δ)- or δ-pulse output is made up from a sequence of ±4π double-humped pulses followed by ±(4π-2δ) pulses, where δ=2invcos(-1/4).
