Phys. Rev. Lett. 57, 2916–2919 (1986)Relativistic Hartree Calculations for Axially Deformed NucleiSee Also: Erratum Received 17 March 1986; revised 6 October 1986; published in the issue dated 8 December 1986 Properties of deformed light nuclei are calculated within a relativistic mean-field theory with use of an axially symmetric space lattice. The axial results are in good agreement with the results of previous calculations for spherical nuclei. For deformed nuclei, parameters fitted to describe spherical nuclei fail to reproduce energies and deformations. © 1986 The American Physical Society URL:
