Phys. Rev. Lett. 62, 1243–1246 (1989)Evidence for K symmetry in nucleon-nucleon scatteringReceived 16 November 1988; published in the issue dated 13 March 1989 Linear relations between the partial-wave amplitudes for nucleon-nucleon scattering are derived from the assumption that the interactions respect K symmetry, which is a combination of isospin and angular momentum. The linear relations are tested using partial-wave amplitudes from phase-shift analyses and are found to be reasonably well satisfied at intermediate energies. © 1989 The American Physical Society URL:
