Lett. 63, 2443–2446 (1989)Topological extensions of the supersymmetry algebra for extended objectsReceived 19 September 1989; published in the issue dated 27 November 1989 We show that the supersymmetry algebra for supersymmetric extended objects can contain, depending on the topology of space, topological charges, the origin of which is the Wess-Zumino term in the effective action.
