Phys. Rev. Lett. 65, 3249–3252 (1990)Limits on nonstandard weak currents from the positron decays of 14O and 10CReceived 21 May 1990; published in the issue dated 24 December 1990 The relative polarization of positrons emitted in pure Fermi (14O) and Gamow-Teller (10C) decays has been measured using a new technique based on time-resolved positronium decay. The result PGT/PF=0.9996±0.0037 provides constraints on possible right-handed and scalar-tensor current admixtures to the weak interaction of -4<ζδ×104<7 and ‖(CS/CV)-(CT/CA)‖=(1±9)×10-3 (90% C.L.), respectively. © 1990 The American Physical Society URL:
