Numerical tests of a novel semiclassical quantization rule are carried out for three strongly chaotic systems: the hyperbolic billiard, Artin’s billiard, and the Hadamard-Gutzwiller model. The results demonstrate that this novel rule is very effective and capable of generalizing sensible approximations to the quantal energy levels.
