Phys. Rev. Lett. 69, 3700–3703 (1992)Bose-Einstein correlations for mixed neutral mesonsReceived 9 October 1992; published in the issue dated 28 December 1992 Correlations are shown to arise in nonidentical mixed-particle pairs like k0k¯ 0 when observed in decay modes like ksks in multiparticle final states containing many partial waves. No enhancement is found in any single partial wave. All partial wave analyses of s-wave threshold resonances a0 and f0 should give the same results for all decay modes. The effect may be useful in CP-violation experiments where B0-B¯ 0 pairs are inclusively produced and their Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen–correlated decays into ψKS and leptonic modes are observed. The CP-violating lepton asymmetry is enhanced by a factor of 2 in the kinematic region where Bose enhancement occurs. © 1992 The American Physical Society URL:
