Phys. Rev. Lett. 73, 2279–2283 (1994)Nonlocality of a Single Photon RevisitedReceived 15 April 1994; published in the issue dated 24 October 1994 A proposal to demonstrate the nonlocality of a single photon is described. This is accomplished without using inequalities, and in a way that brings out a very curious feature of quantum mechanics. Unlike the first proposal to investigate the nonlocality of a single photon due to Tan, Walls, and Collett, this proposal does not require supplementary assumptions, and therefore rules out the whole class of local hidden variable interpretations. © 1994 The American Physical Society URL:
