Inflation requires the presence of fields (inflatons) with very flat potentials. Models of low-energy supersymmetry (SUSY) breaking yield new candidates for the inflaton field. We present a simple model for slow-rollover inflation where the vacuum energy driving inflation is related to the scale of supersymmetry breaking among ordinary particles. This opens the possibility of gaining possible knowledge about SUSY dynamics from measurements of the microwave background. Gravitinos do not pose a cosmological problem, while the moduli problem is ameliorated.
