Lett. 81, 5734–5737 (1998)New Limit on Muon and Electron Lepton Number Violation from KL0→μ±e∓ DecayReceived 25 September 1998; published in the issue dated 28 December 1998 The most sensitive experiment to date to search for the muon and electron lepton number violating decay KL0→μ±e∓ has detected no events consistent with this process. Based on this result, the 90% confidence level upper limit on the branching fraction is B(KL0→μ±e∓)<4.7×10-12. © 1998 The American Physical Society URL:
