Events in China (July 2008)

The Editor-in-Chief of the APS journals, Gene D. Sprouse, will lead a small delegation of editors from Physical Review Letters and Physical Review to China for a series of activities:

• Visits to the Chinese Academy of Science, Beijing University, Fudan University, Nanjing University, Tsinghua University, University of Science and Technology of China, Wuhan University and Zhejiang University.
• Tuesday, July 8, 2008, 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM: A special symposium jointly held by the American Physical Society and the Chinese Physical Society to celebrate PRL's golden anniversary and to discuss ways that the APS and the CPS can best foster communication in physics.

• Tuesday, July 8, 2008, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM: Reception and dinner for the symposium attendees.
